St. James Episcopal Church is a member of the Diocese of Kentucky and the Episcopal Church of the United States. Our history dates back to the beginnings of Christianity and our traditional Eucharist (Communion) is combined with our progressive commitment to the universality of God's love.
The Church of St. James dates back to 1858 in Shelbyville, Kentucky - the eastern frontier of the Diocese. Everyone is welcome to join us for Holy Communion on Wednesdays at 12:15 PM and Sundays at 10:00 AM.
