Monarch Mountain Lodge is an ideal location for outdoor enthusiasts, adventurers and those looking for a quiet nature retreat.
LOCATION Located in the Heart of the Rockies, surrounded by the San Isabel National Forest and just a few short miles from the Continental Divide, our lodge is in a unique physical location that is off-limits to future developments of its kind.
BAR & GRILL The restaurant at Monarch Mountain Lodge is open with a full menu during ski season. April- November we offer a continental breakfast daily. Thursday – Saturday from 6 to 9 pm we open the restaurant for pizza and drinks.
ACTIVITIES When you make Monarch Mountain Lodge your vacation destination, you have access to limitless outdoor activities. Monarch Mountain Ski Area ( ) is just 4 miles up the road. In warmer months it becomes a haven for hikers, mountain bikers, and general adventurers. When you ride the lifts to the top, you are able to look right over the Continental Divide for some supremely enlightening views.
The Arkansas River Valley is also a great place for hunting, fishing, cycling and general adventure-seeking.
