Maverick Communications was formed in Beaumont, Texas in 1987 as a two man telephone cabling and rearrangement business. Throughout the first thirteen years, with no advertisement, with no salesperson, only referrals became one of the most dominant communication companies in Southeast Texas and Southwest Louisiana.
In Southeast Texas, Maverick Communications was the first to install data over telephone wire and perfect it, the first to start installing fiber optic cable for data networks, the company developed a video over telephone wiring when others were telling us "It won't work" and the first in other areas of communications. This base now includes a variety of customer types: from doctors, lawyers, hospitals, and small businesses to chemical and oil refineries.
