Rasmussen was founded in 1907 as a blacksmith shop by Rasmus Rasmussen, a Danish immigrant who opened an earlier shop in Storm Lake, Iowa. The blacksmith was always the innovator, the guy you turned to fix things, make tools that work and find abetter way. The Spirit of the Blacksmith lives today in our variety of gas burning solutions for the fireplace, as well as with our Solaire Infrared Grills for better grilling and our Bromic Radiant Patio Heaters for keeping you warm outside.
