Welcome to West Harvey-Dixmoor School District 147, where it is our mission to create a climate of excellence by empowering all students and stakeholders to attain their highest potential both academically and socially.
Our vision is to create a positive learning environment that promotes the education of all children. Each student will achieve at a higher level of academic performance as well as exhibit good personal character, while functioning effectively in the community and contributing to the broader society.
Our District current operates three grade-level centers: Lincoln Elementary, for students in grades Pre-School and Kindergarten. Lincoln is also home to our SmartTalk program. Martin Luther King Elementary School serves students in grades first through fourth. Rosa Parks Middle School serves our fifth through eighth grade students.
The District's Administration Center is located at 191 W. 155th Place, Harvey, Illinois. Here, the district houses our Superintendent's Office, Special Education Department, Business Office, Operations Department, and our Curriculum, Instruction, and Technology Department.
