Annunciation Monastery shared Heart River Bridges of Hope's event.
Our 4th Annual Celebration of new life in Christ, Echoes of Easter, is an event you do not want to miss! On Sunday, April 30th at 2:30 pm at Trinity Lutheran Church, Bismarck (502 N 4th St.) there will be a celebration of music and song, called "Echoes of Easter." ™ Several church choirs, including McCabe United Methodist, St. Paul Lutheran Garrison, United Church of Christ, Lord of Life Lutheran, St. Mary's High School Blues, Symbiotic Tendencies (a brass group), Beautiful Harps, and organist Scott Houser will gather to sing about the new life we are given in Christ. Coffee, cookies, and fellowship will follow the performances. Echoes of Easter is free and open to the public. There will be a free-will offering taken during the event to benefit the re-entry ministries Ministry on the Margins and Heart River Bridges of Hope.

University of Mary students collected all of these donated shoes and presented them to Sister Nancy Gunderson and Pam Kossan for the children of the mission in Uganda.

These amazing University of Mary students have hearts for service and such talent! Under the direction of their professor,Dr. Chad Litton, they coordinated a project to gather black-tied shoes for AIDS orphans in Uganda and applied for a grant to fund classrooms, part of a kitchen and church for this mission. Sister Nancy Gunderson will be joining mission coordinator, Pam Kossan, and Claudia Dietrich in Uganda in July. She will teach the children about the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Our prayers are with the students (and professors) at the University of Mary as they prepare for finals week! God bless you. You got this!
