UCS is pleased to continue its more than twenty year partnership with Vermont Arts Exchange in providing art services to our community members. Local artist Joey Bishop will have an exhibition of drawings and paintings at The Brown Cow Cafe with Opening Reception on Friday, June 2nd from 5:00-7:00 pm. The exhibit will be on display for several weeks during regular business hours. Congratulations Joey!

Some 40+ cases of alcoholic beverages now have a bright yellow and black warning sticker on them.The Sticker Shock Campaign is a collaborative effort amongst several community organizations to stop those selling alcohol to minors. The movement started on Wednesday when students from Teens4Change placed stickers on cases. Officers from Bennington Police Department were there to present POSITIVE tickets to the students. Bennington Beverage Outlet, Mincer’s Mini Mart, Willy’s Variety Store and Martin’s Mini Mart are participating in the campaign.
