Dauterman Healthcare & Mobility was founded in 1970 by Mr. Douglas R. Dauterman, a veteran naval officer who served in the Pacific during World War II. Mr. Dauterman initially began selling medical products from his garage and the business rapidly expanded. The business continued to grow with new lines being added every year. In 1991, Mr. Dauterman retired and sold the business to his employees.

In keeping with Mr. Dauterman’s philosophy, Dauterman Healthcare & Mobility has been committed to providing high quality products at reasonable prices. Dauterman Healthcare & Mobility represents and specializes in ostomy, incontinence, wound care, skin care and urological supplies as well as mobility scooters, power chairs and lift chairs. Dauterman Healthcare & Mobility represents durable medical equipment such as walkers, rollators and shower chairs, transfer benches, wheelchairs, canes and crutches. Dauterman Healthcare & Mobility also carries a full line of cold therapy wraps and other orthopedic supports.
