Hilltop Farm, Inc. had a wonderful weekend at the ESDCTA Memorial Weekend Shows 1 and 2, at the Horse Park of New Jersey: Their stallion Sternlicht Hilltop (Soliman de Hus/Rascalino/Wesley) easily earned the last score required for his lifetime breeding approval with the AHS and the ARS! Ridden by Hilltop head trainer Michael Bragdell, Sternlicht Hilltop started the weekend in style at Saturday’s ESDCTA Memorial Weekend Show 1, winning the FEI Prix St. Georges with a score of 70.658%. Sternlicht and Michael followed up that success at Sunday’s Show 2, convincingly winning the USEF Developing Prix St. Georges class with a 71.985%. The 2010 black stallion was bred by Rachel Ehrlich of Greengate Farm, Massachusetts, and now is owned by Hilltop Farm. Sternlicht Hilltop was licensed in 2013, and his first foals arrived in the spring of 2015. Consistently stamped with their sire’s beautiful, modern type, Sternlicht’s foals have enjoyed success both at inspections, with many Premium designations and Site Championships to their credit; and at the breed shows, including wins and Reserve Championship honors at the prestigious Dressage at Devon. Congratulations to breeder Rachel Ehrlich, Greengate Farm, and owner Hilltop Farm, Inc.! (Photo: Sternlicht Hilltop and Michael Bragdell. Courtesy of Hilltop Farm, Inc.)

Introducing the first AHS foal branded in 2017! This lovely gray filly was branded on Thursday at Spy Coast Farm. Owned by Tequestrian Farms (http://tequestrianfarms.com), the filly is by the Hanoverian stallion King Kolibri (Kolibri/Achill-Libero H/Landgraf) out of the Oldenburg mare La Centa (Cento/Silvio I/Sandro), who is AHS Main Studbook approved.
