Usa Children's & Women's Hospital

Established in 1983 as part of the USA Medical Center, the Children's & Women's hospital is a member of the University of South Alabama Health System. After undergoing construction and renovation in 1997, the newly named University of South Alabama Children's & Women's Hospital is one of five freestanding hospitals in the United States dedicated specifically to the health care needs of infants, children, and women.

Whether treating life-threatening illness, traumatic injury, premature birth, or high risk obstetrical and gynecological needs, our health care professionals are uniquely qualified and equipped to provide the highest level of care for children and women.

The USA Children's & Women's Hospital is a proud member of the Children's Miracle Network which seeks to create miracles by funding medical care, research, and education that saves and improves the lives of more than 17 million children each year through the donations of countless individuals, organizations, and media partners. Established in 1983, the Children's Miracle Network has raised more than billion dollars in support of over 170 children's hospitals.
