The Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrome Foundation was established as a promise from Mary Slaman to her twin baby boys Matthew and Steven on the day of their birth, December 7th, 1989. Little Steven passed away from TTTS. His brother Matthew survived and is healthy. Matthew and Steven are the two little boys that started the fight against TTTS and their promise from their mother, is a promise kept.
