At Mt. Bethel, we cherish a long history of worship and fellowship which began sometime in the mid 1700's as a meeting place for early settlers. Throughout the years Mt. Bethel served as a center for social and religious life in what is now known as Bahama, North Carolina. As the population of Bahama grew, so did the church and the number of her members.
While we are excited to share with you about our past, we are equally excited about our future. We know that God is not through with us yet. Here at Mt. Bethel, we are committed to allowing the Holy Spirit to transform us into the kind of "meeting place" that future generations will be able to utilize in sharing the good news of Jesus Christ.
