Baabaazuzu began in 1993 when Kevin Burns (co-founder) accidentally shrunk his wife's (Sue Burns, co-founder) favorite wool sweaters. Rather than discard her shrunken wool sweaters, Sue re-purposed the material and made her two daughters jackets and matching hats. After a positive response to Sue's designs, Sue began Baabaazuzu. Each piece is one-of-a-kind, eco-friendly and handcrafted in Michigan.
