UCDS is accredited by the South Carolina Association of Christian Schools and offers a rigorous college preparatory curriculum that enables the majority of students to enter the college of their choice upon graduating.
Beginning with our 3K program and continuing until graduation, students are challenged academically and encouraged to perform to the best of their abilities. We aim to foster critical thinking and problem solving skills, while still offering a caring, Christian environment where students feel they can learn and grow safely.
Students at UCDS can engage in a variety of extra curricular activities, ranging from Beta Club and Student Government Association, to marching band and chorus. We also have a successful sports program. UCDS offers varsity and JV basketball and volleyball for men and women, and our teams regularly rank in the top of the conference. Last season, our boy's basketball team won the the conference championship, and we expect great results from them this year as well!
Students at UCDS are encouraged to attend the church of their choosing, and will not be pressured to attend a particular church or conform to the beliefs of a particular denomination. Bible is a required subject for graduating from UCDS, and our curriculum reflects our commitment to giving students a solid biblical foundation without promoting the beliefs of a specific denomination.
