Many of you have seen or used Ling Thesaurus - a collection of all the words and phrases a kid needs to know by the time they’re 8. Beginnings is here to give parents, child care professionals, teachers, and other professionals who work with children, some activity starters! Put this on your fridge and use these words nonstop for the next two weeks. Remember, a kid with hearing loss might have to be exposed to each word up to 30 times before it is learned. This feature will run every two weeks! Snap a pic while you’re out doing some of these activities and tag us on SM with the hashtags: #BSCLanguageLab #LanguageLab! Feel free to forward to a friend! Find this language lab and more at www.scbegin.org/awareness-and-education/
