SkyThrills, the brainchild of Michael "Rocket" Blackstone, began in 1999 with a dream and the vision of bringing flying aerobatics, world-class stunt planes, and roller coaster thrill rides together in the skies above Los Angeles and Orange County. We are now offering yet another facet to the business with our 1930s Biplane Charter flights to Catalina, San Diego, Santa Barbara, Big Bear, or anywhere else you can dream up to fly to in the United States. SkyThrills is fueled by thrill seekers and aviation enthusiasts in search of fun and adventure. Our clients get the unique opportunity to actually fly our world-class, stunt planes, hand's on, for up to 90% of the flight time if they so choose. This kind of operation did not exist for non-pilots to enjoy until SkyThrills! became operational in 1999. SkyThrills is the only place to blend adventure flying with teaching so that our clients get to actually fly the plane themselves. This is not a "watch this" kind of operation. SkyThrills brings aerobatic flying to everyone and strives to make flying fun; not scary. No experience is ever required to fly with us. A complimentary DVD of your flight is usually included.
