With the current political climate, tension and stress can be at an all time high. With Valentine’s Day, whether you’re single or not, one may experience confusing and mixed emotions. However, what’s often left out of this politically active time and this day of love is self-love, which is why we have decided to host a self-care focused holistic healing workshop! The first portion of the evening will be an introduction to aromatherapy techniques, where we will talk about the various healing benefits of essential oils, as well as some fun and creative ways to use them. This will be led by Jeffrey Liang, our VIBE facilitator. During the second portion of the evening, we will be practicing self-exploration and healing oneself from the inside out through various meditation exercises led by our very own, Jazzmun Crayton. Free food will be provided, so please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions! As always, if this is your 1st or 3rd time attending VIBE or VIBE+, you will receive a $15 Amazon Gift Card. To RSVP, please click “Going” on this event! If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please email jeffreyl@apaitonline.org (VIBE) or danieln@apaitonline.org (VIBE+). VIBE is a social support group for gay, queer, bisexual, and questioning Asian, Pacific Islander, and Latinx men, ages 18-29. VIBE+ is a social support group for gay, queer, bisexual, and questioning Asian, Pacific Islander, and Latinx HIV+ men, ages 18-29.
