All in the Family’s Adult Day Treatment and Training Program is a step towards independence for those individuals who are developmentally disabled, but have the mobility to do farm work.
Based in Gilbert, clients will be transported off site to a 10-acre, irrigated hobby farm. There they will have the opportunity to experience all aspects of farm life including: animal care, greenhouse gardening, general maintenance, yard work, developing an orchard, and various arts and crafts.
Clients will witness firsthand where their meals come from, gain the satisfaction of knowing that they have the skills necessary to produce their own food, and have the opportunity to learn how to market what they make.
