Don's Paperback Book Exchange

We are Don's Book Store, a family owned book shop located in Albuquerque, New Mexico for 46 years. Don's Book Store opened as a little tiny shop on Central across from the fairgrounds in 1970. Owner Don Pierce saw his little shop quickly outgrow the small store front in a few short months. He soon built the shop where Don's is still standing.

Today, at Don's Book Store, we have over 200,000 well organized paperback and hardback books. You can recycle your previously read books and get paperback credit. You can then choose from thousands of books and get many of those for as little as a fifty cents each. Even if you don't want to trade, the majority of our in store stock is 60-97% off original publisher price. We also have a selection of new books that are 25-50% off original publisher price.

You can call anytime when you're looking for a book and we can let you know within a minute whether or not we have that book in stock. If we don't have the book in stock, we can offer a free book search. We have had terrific success in locating hard to find titles.
