Hartville SOD Farm is a family owned farm. We have been in business since 1912. In 1992, we planted our first grass, which started the SOD business. We now have over 200 acres devoted to SOD.
Our most asked for variety of SOD is Kentucky Bluegrass. Ninety five percent of the grass we sell is Kentucky Blue. It has a very good root structure, which will spread and fill. Kentucky Blue is also excellent for any direct sunlight applications. If you need SOD for other areas such as dense shade, give us a call to see what is available at the time.
