The Family Crisis Center is a non-profit charitable organization that incorporated in July 1979. Concerned about the homeless population in our community, Mary Baker and a group of local citizens formed the organization as the Porterville Mission Project and Porterville Women's Shelter. Over two decades later, the Family Crisis Center continues to maintain excellence in its programs aimed at eliminating domestic violence and homelessness within our community.
