Absolute Dignity

Absolute Dignity was opened in June of 2007. The vision for the store was to provide a place for women who had been diagnosed with breast cancer to have a place to go for post surgery products. Kathy Dibben, the owner is a two time breast cancer survivor as well as a colon cancer survivor.

As a survivor, Kathy understands the fear, all the emotions, and the need for compassion that a newly diagnosed cancer patient is searching for. We provide that at Absolute Dignity.

In 2008 Kathy was contacted by General Mills. She was asked to be a Pinktogether Ambassador. She was pictured on over 200 million boxes of General Mills Products. She is still a Pinktogether Ambassador, which has allowed her to make life long friendships with other Ambassadors from around the Country.
The publicity from General Mills led to Kathy being featured in several publications including the "Breast Cancer Wellness Magazine", A book written by Izard entitled "BoomerPreneurs", "How we became Breast Cancer Thrivers" by Beverly Vote. She has been featured twice in the "Patient Resource Cancer Guide", and the current Betty Crocker Living with Cancer cookbook features all the Pinktogether Ambassadors.

Absolute Dignity is an accredited facility through BOC, (The Board of Certification Accreditation,International) and Kathy Dibben is certified through American Board for Certification for Orthotics, and Prosthetics.
Kathy Dibben is on the Board of Directors of The Power Of Pink, an organization that provides direct services to breast cancer patients.
