Walton Veterans Club

The Walton Veterans Club was formed in 1948. Together the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 270, The American Legion Post 32, The American Legion Auxiliary and The Sons of the American Legion serve the needs of our Veterans and our Community.
Our facilities at 10 Park St. Walton, maintain a gathering place for Veterans and their families. Besides our meeting hall and location for refreshments, we have pool table, ring toss, shuffle board and a duel horseshoe pit. Our picnic pavilion and barbeque pit are available for our members.
Walton is one of the few remaining Towns that provide a uniformed Honor Guard firing detail for all Veterans funerals.
We ensure that all Veterans graves have an American Flag placed on them each year.
We donate the American Flags that fly on Delaware St. We also accept used and damages American Flags for proper disposal.
Our American Legion Auxiliary spends over $3000 annually in postage alone to sends packages to our troops in combat zones.
We maintain a library of medical support equipment.
Together our organizations donate over $1500 in graduating High School awards.

The Walton Veterans Club provides a home and support for:
The American Legion Truman C. Tobey Post 32
The American Legion Auxiliary Unit 32
S. A. L. Squadron 32
Veterans of Foreign Wars Frank B. Eells Post 270
