The congregation of the Gower Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) has stood and served as one of the witnesses to the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the Gower, Missouri community for over 160 years. We are indeed proud of this long heritage.
We are not a huge church and average around 125 in worship on Sunday. Our active congregation is make up of all ages blessed with a friendly nature that enjoys laughter and fellowship with one another.
As a church we are called to be the people of God on mission: gathered to worship and learn; scattered to all be ministers, serving Christ in our various walks of life.
We trust that you will find within our congregation the warmth of Christian fellowship, inspiration from our worshiping, and the peace one experiences from an awareness of God's presence.
