Acupuncture uses very thin, pain-free needles to affect the energy of the body with the goal of reducing pain or dysfunction. Needles are frequently placed on the legs, arms, back and neck depending on what is being treated.
Most people seek out acupuncture for pain related issues. In addition to pain, I enjoy treating things such as neurological issues, menstrual irregularities, peri and menopausal symptoms, headaches and support through cancer treatment just to name a few examples.
