Over 60 of the mid-Atlantic region's most experienced urologists, all either board certified or board eligible, practice at Chesapeake Urology's convenient locations throughout Maryland. Fourteen physicians are fellowship-trained in specialized areas such as Male Reproductive Medicine and Surgery; Neurology/Voiding Dysfunction; Laparoscopy, Endourology and Robotics and Urologic Oncology.

Four radiation oncologists offer the most state-of-the-art radiation therapy to treat appropriate patients with prostate cancer. Also on staff is a urologic pathologist. Ten of Chesapeake Urology’s physicians serve as chiefs of urology, surgery or urologic oncology at area hospitals, and two are urologic consultants to the NFL Ravens and the Baltimore Orioles.

Chesapeake Urology is committed to the latest urological treatment and advancements. Clinical trials are performed through its research group, Chesapeake Urology Research Associates. All clinical trials are conducted according to the principles of Good Clinical Practice (GCPs) as mandated by the FDA. Medical Director Ronald Tutrone, , , has conducted more than 100 phase I, II and III clinical trials covering a broad range of urological conditions ranging from urinary incontinence to erectile dysfunction. Through these trials, patients can access advanced technology and therapies before they are readily available to the general public.
