The USFA Executive Fire Officer (EFO) Program is saddened to learn that Chief Edward Switalski, of Comstock Fire Department, MI and EFO student was killed in a line of duty accident. The Chief was sworn in on July 2013 and had completed his first EFO course at the NFA. Our thoughts and prayers are offered to his family, department and all that knew him.
