History Round Lake Christian Camp is owned and supported by 127 Christian Churches and Churches of Christ in northeastern Ohio. The first summer camps were held in 1950 with 5 full weeks of camp. Only 2 buildings remain from the initial purchase, the house on 179, and the boathouse (blue roof) by the lake. The lake is a 25 surface acre spring fed lake and continues to be a great source of entertainment for campers. Including the lake, there are nearly 100 acres stretching from State Route 3 to State Route 179. The camp also owns 96 acres in Licking County for use as wilderness (primitive) camping.
Employees Presently there are 7 full time employees, various support staff (food service and housekeeping), and many faithful volunteers who give time and talent to this camp in a variety of ways throughout the year. Employees are accountable to a Board of Trustees and a Board of Directors.
Funding Finances to operate come from member churches; Christian donors; camper tuition; retreat groups; and special fund raising events. The annual operation budget is $ million. kayaks, fishing
