Camp Fern is a residential summer camp for children ages 6 to 16 located in the piney woods of East Texas on private Fern Lake. Parents say that Fern's strongest points are personal family atmosphere, quality of counselors and variety of activities.
Founded on Christian principles, Camp Fern has four summer sessions: four weeks for girls, a one week co-ed, and four weeks for boys.
Computers and video games are left behind as campers immerse themselves in physically and mentally challenging activities ranging from Art to Archery, Fishing to Fencing, and more. Fern places special emphasis on Swimming, English Horseback Riding, and Nature.
