Madison Church of God

Madison Church of God is in Madison, Florida just outside the city limits on Hwy 145 North going toward Valdosta, Georgia. We have been in our new church for 7 years and last year it was paid off in full!! We give God all of the praise and glory for this!!!

February 2014 we welcomed our new pastor Jason Justus, his wife Amber, and their children Peyton, Makenzie, Emmalee, and soon to be Joshiah. They came to us from Sylvania, Alabama. Both Jason & Amber were raised in Florida and both are Preacher's kids. We are so blessed to have them as our leaders at MCOG. We are looking forward to see which direction God takes us as we all move forward together.

Madison Church of God offers activities/services for all ages from the youngest to the oldest. Please continue reading and see what age group would be best for you and or your family.

Sundays: Sunday School begins at 10:00 am. We have different classes starting with the infants on up to the senior adults. 11:00 am we begin our Morning Worship in the Sanctuary. Our praise team leads us in music before our Pastor preaches. We are blessed with a great Praise Team and wonderful musicians. During our Sunday morning service a supervised nursery is provided for infants to 3 years of age. One Way (children's church) ages 4-12 have their service taught by Melissa Goins. The Bible tells us to train up a child in the ways he should go so why not begin young and start teaching them the word of God. Sunday evenings at 6:00 pm we have our evening worship service.

Wednesday: Start your morning off with prayer at 9:00 am for anyone who would like to come. We pray for our church, community, and nation. We are living in the last days and we need to be in prayer for everyone that lives will be changed and hearts will be touched. Wednesday evenings we have our Fusion Cafe open from 5:30-6:30 where we prepare supper for you. We have a menu that you can order off of and your food comes out hot and fresh. 6:30 the adults have a Bible lesson/study in the main sanctuary taught by Pastor Jason while the youth have a message in the youth room taught by Jacob Everhart.

Other Activities: Our men meet the last Sunday morning at 8:00 am of each month for a breakfast followed by a guest speaker. The men plan different activities also, so come and join the men for breakfast.

Debra Bass leads our Silver Queens Choir in singing and they visit our nursing homes and sing to our shut ins. For the shut ins who can't come to church we go to them and deliver the word with song and praise. The Silver Queens are made up of our "silver" haired ladies who are well seasoned in Christ.

Our ladies ministries group ( ) meet every three months for their meetings in which they discuss upcoming events and have a time of devotion together. Each month the ladies have some type of activity going on from dinner & movie to painting and everything in between. The ladies also have a Bible study at least twice a year.

As you can see we have a lot of groups/activities going on at the Madison Church of God. If you do not have a "home" church we would like to invite you to come and visit our church.
