Fountainblu History Fountainblu has been a family owned and operated skating rink since 1973! The facility was built in the late 60's for indoor tennis courts. That's why the ceiling is so high. In our Skate Rental Room you can still see the original tennis court floor. In the early 70's Mr. Hyles Hagy converted the building into Hagy's Fountainblu Skating Arena, named after Mr. Hagy's favorite Miami Hotel - The Fontainebleau. In 1995 the rink was sold to the current owners, Bob and Diane, who still operate it as a family business!
