The Mississippi Pharmacists Association (MPhA) is the premier pharmacy organization in the state of Mississippi, and is one of the oldest pharmacy associations in the country, having been established in 1871. MPhA currently has over 1,000 active members, not including our student members, from all areas of practice in pharmacy.
Because pharmacy is such an important industry in the state, MPhA provides each of its members with legislative advocacy, member only partnerships, continuing education credits, and networking opportunities. Legislatively, MPhA is your voice at the capitol.
MPhA members experience many meetings in various locations around the state as well as in their home communities. The state of Mississippi has nine MPhA districts, which are home to district meetings. Members also benefit from our annual convention in Destin, Florida, as well as our annual Capitol Day at the state capitol in Jackson, consultant seminar, and mid-winter meetings in Oxford and Jackson.
An organization started by pharmacists, for pharmacists, MPhA strives to work hard for its members and the welfare of the pharmacy community and citizens of Mississippi.
