Founded in 1993 by owner Scott Locher, Locher, Inc started as a single employee traveling nationwide offering in-place spindle taper grinding. This service allowed companies who were experiencing machining problems and shut-downs to be back up and running within hours. As the company began to grow so did it's services. We now offer not only In-place Spindle grinding but Spindle Rebuilding, Tapered Insert installations, Boring Bar repairs, full machine center rebuilds, CNC retrofits, Laser Alignment and Calibration, and much more.
