The Rolla Daily News today grew out of a number of newspapers that initially began in the 1870s. Today, the RDN is part of Mid-Missouri Media, which also includes the Waynesville Daily Guide, the St. James Leader-Journal, the Pulaski County Weekly, and the Plus, along with the companion web sites. Mid-Missouri Media is owned by GateHouse Media Inc.
