The largest homeless serving agency in North Idaho serving 2,958 unduplicated individuals in 2010. Since 1949 we have served the community by offering the only Men's Emergency Shelter in North Idaho (17 beds), Woman's Shelter(15 beds), 54 units of transitional housing, and over 250 units of affordable housing. Home of the regions only HELP Center we have a "one stop shop" that is home to 14 non-profits-providing 19 life saving programs all under 1 roof. We also have 24 social service programs that include Art on the Edge (art outreach), ICARE (parenting and child abuse prevention), case management, voucher program for utility and rental assistance, Legal Link, Veteran Services, senior housing, Housing First, a Monday through Friday soup kitchen and 2 thrift stores.
