The notices state that the $50 renewal fee goes toward road construction and maintenance. This is not correct.

Attention Snowmobilers! It has come to our attention that we recently mailed out snowmobile renewal notices that contained an error. The notices state that the $50 renewal fee goes toward road construction and maintenance. This is not correct. As in the past, SNO funds go to the Snowmobile acct distributed per RCWs > Title 46 > Chapter 46.68 > Section 46.68.350. This has not changed. We apologize for the inconvenience and confusion this may have caused for the recipients. Please visit dol.wa.gov or http://apps.leg.wa.gov/rcw/default.aspx?cite=46.68.350 for more info. Thank you.

You don't actually need to visit us in person for much these days. In fact, you can go online to renew your ID, request your driving record, make an address change and more. Just visit www.dol.wa.gov to find out about your options.
