CHURCH MINISTRIES

SUNDAY SCHOOL: 9:45 am "sharp"
Sunday School classes are available for all ages. The Bible is taught with love and dedication to help the student grow spiritually as well as to equip them for ministering to the lost and to fulfill the admonishing of 1 Peter 3:15 to all believers; "But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear."

CHILDREN'S CHURCH (begins when the choir comes down)
A children's church is available for ages 3-11. The children are taught Bible lessons on their level. There is also singing and games for the children.

SUNDAY MORNING WORSHIP at 11 am
Singing that praises and lifts the name of the Lord in spiritual songs and hymns. Old fashioned preaching by pastor Alton Stamey follows the song service.

SUNDAY EVENING WORSHIP AT 6 pm.

PRAYER MEETING ON WEDNESDAYS AT 7 pm
Bible teaching and prayer meeting for the adults.

YOUTH MINISTRY
The youth are taught on a level they need and understand. They assist the church in ministering to the community and participate in fun activities. Led by Bro. Clark Garner and his wife Sis. Janice, the youth are an important part of West View's ministry and the future of this church.

AWANA Wed. 6 till 8 pm (fellowship hall) August thru May.
This is a great program for children from 18 months through high school. The children are given a meal, have book time where they learn Bible verses and begin to learn to how to read the Bible and learn about our Lord and Savior. They are also allowed game time where they learn the spirit of competition in a Christian environment. There is also a devotional. This is an integral part of West View's ministry and has seen many children come to a saving knowledge and accept Jesus as Lord and Savior, which is what this program is really all about. Our workers are devoted to these children and are dedicated to having a safe environment to work with these kids entrusted to our care. There are rules and regulations that are to be abided by for each worker as well as training from the AWANA Conferences, in handling and recognizing situations that may arise. West View leadership takes this very seriously. While having fun and Bible learning are an integral part of this program there is also discipline (non-physical) expected and taught to the children. Again, we use the KJV of this program.

VAN MINISTRY
Picking up children and adults who need a ride to church is part of our doing our best to fulfill the Great commission. You can contact Greg Thompson @ 404-368-1404.

GOLDEN AGERS
This Seniors group meets each month, They enjoy fellowship, go on trips, and serve the Lord as He leads. This group is currently led by Sis. Diane Gray.

WINGS (ACRONYM FOR WOMEN IN GOD'S SERVICE)
This ladies group also meets together once a month, supporting missions and serving our church and community through the leadership of the Lord.

Men's Fellowship Breakfast is every second Sunday per month in the fellowship hall and starts at 8:30 am.
