WHAT CAN I EXPECT WHEN I VISIT?
Visiting a new church can sometimes be confusing so we've answered some frequently asked questions to help you feel more comfortable when you come to worship with us here at FLC.

WHICH SERVICE IS RIGHT FOR ME?
WHICH SERVICE IS RIGHT FOR ME?
FLC currently offers 2 different worship services. A classical/traditional service at 8:30 on Sundays, and a contemporary/relaxed service at 10:51 on Sundays. During the Christmas and Easter seasons, we also have services on Wednesday nights.

WHERE SHOULD I PARK?
FLC has parking on the West and South sides of the church. Curbside parking is available and, additionally, overflow parking is available at the Sutter County Library across the street from the church.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
FLC does not have a dress code. Normally worshipers tend to dress "California Casual".

WHAT ABOUT MY CHILDREN?
We encourage families to worship together but for the parents comfort we have a nursery fully equipped with a changing table, age appropriate toys, and most importantly a "live" telecast of the service. There is an attendant from 10:00 am to the end of the contemporary service.

SHOULD I GIVE AT OFFERING?
This is an opportunity in our service for us to be able to give back to God out of what He has first given to us. We do not expect visitors to participate unless they also are moved to express thankfulness to God for what He has done for them. We do ask that you fill out our "red" worship attendance and give us the opportunity to know that you worshiped with us.

WILL I BE ABLE TO FOLLOW ALONG WITH THE SERVICE?
Yes! Each of our services provides a handout or a video screen so that you can participate in the worship experience.

WHAT IS COMMUNION ALL ABOUT AND DO I PARTICIPATE?
Communion is celebrated on the first and third Sundays at FLC. The Lord’s Supper (Communion) is a wonderful gift from God. We believe that our Lord invites to His Supper those who:
o Believe in Jesus as Savior
o Believe that Christ is truly present in the bread and the wine
o Desire to turn from sin in their lives
o Believe that God brings forgiveness, renewed faith, and a deeper love for Him and others as the meal is shared.

Children younger than 18 years and not confirmed may come forward to receive a blessing.
