They were very happy with Edward’s design that easily fits over any rescues suit glove. The PA-1000 Over Glove fits the gloves of most ice rescue suits. These universal fit gloves have Kevlar reinforced palms to resist cuts and abrasions from ropes, ice and equipment. The PA-1000 features loop strap stall and hook/loop patch that enables attachment to the FirstWatch RS-1000 ice suit.

Well said. And remember - as a student you are also responsible for your own safety. If an instructor asks you to do something that you believe is unwise - do not participate. It may save your life.
Part of successful training is the ability to be flexible. Check out this clip of the Menominee River after all that recent rainfall. This river rose above normal by a considerable margin, and in response, training was held on an alternate river. There were definitely some "keeper"s out in this water, and the safety of our students is essential. Remember, training should be as realistic as practical, but should certainly not disregard safety. Stay safe out there!
