The Michigan Chronicle is the state's oldest and most respected African-American publication. This award-winning weekly newspaper has received the prestigious John B. Russworm award for the "Best Black Newspaper in the Country" six times in the past 12 years.
Historically, the Chronicle has been at the forefront of reporting major social and economic changes affecting African-American. More than 70 years after its first publication, the Chronicle continues to successfully be the voice of the African-American community.
