Silver Bison Ranch has been holistically raising Great Plains Bison since 1992. Approximately 400 bison are raised on this 1000 acre ranch located in Western Wisconsin, using nothing but top-notch organic and sustainable farming practices. The bison are raised free-range, and consume nothing but natural prairie grasses, and both the animals and the pastures are never touched by chemicals, meaning absolutely no antibiotics, fertilizers or hormones. These practices assure that the bison, as well as the land they're raised on are healthy and holistic as possible.
Silver Bison Ranch is known for their stellar meat products, which are carried by some of the finest restaurants in the Minneapolis and St. Paul area.
The store, located near the farm entrance, carries a multitude of different bison products, as the ranch prides itself in using absolutely everything from harvesting the animals. From a variety of delicious meat products to soft and supple leather items and everything in-between, there is surely something for everyone! In addition, the shop carries a variety of handmade Native American crafts and creations.
Store hours are 1-5pm Saturday and Sunday, and all other days by appointment only (715-684-2811).
