Great opportunity for snowmobile and orb users to participate in discussions. Tuesday, May 23: Emmet County Community Building 10:00 am - 12:00 pm 1129 Charlevoix Ave. (off of U.S. 31) Petoskey, MI 49770 Facilitated by Parallel Solutions, this session is for interested persons or groups who participate in, plan for, promote or organize outdoor recreation related activities in northwest Lower Michigan, with a primary focus on Antrim, Charlevoix, Emmet, Wexford, and Missaukee counties. If you are an owner of an outdoor recreation related business, a representative of a local Chamber of Commerce or Convention and Visitors Bureau, a local government official, a non-profit group working to create or conserve outdoor recreation related assets or experiences, or part of a group of outdoor recreation enthusiasts, we invite you to attend this meeting. Refreshments will be provided.

Michigan Department of Natural Resources officials announced today that the Kalkaska ORV Route just north of County Road 612 in Kalkaska County has water flowing over the trail. The trail is located in Blue Lake Township, Section 36. See attached map showing the affected area.
