SPIFFS, St. Petersburg International Folk Fair Society, Inc., is a non-profit umbrella organization of over 25 ethnic groups. It was founded in 1975 to present a festival as part of the US bicentennial celebration. Each year SPIFFS produces its International Folk Fair, hosting more than 8,000 students in addition to thousands of other visitors.
