Dick Proenneke, at the age of 51 went into the Wilds of Alaska in the 60's and built a cabin. He lived there for thirty years and using his 8mm and 16mm cameras filmed the building of his cabin and his adventures in this Alaskan Wilderness. These films each contain an hour of unique footage that document Dick Proenneke's story.
