Snappy Tomato Pizza was started as a single independent pizza operation in 1978 in Fort Mitchell, Kentucky. The concept was to deliver top quality pizzas to Northern Kentucky residents. The excitement around Snappy grew at a rapid rate and the franchise was formed to sell this successful new concept. The modern era of Snappy Tomato Pizza started in 1993 when Northern Kentucky based entrepreneur Charles Deters and The Deters Company purchased the company and became the franchisor.
