MEDICO is a nonprofit humanitarian service organization that has been providing comprehensive health care response in Central America since 1990. Our efforts are through short-term medical mission teams, long-term community partnerships and ongoing health education projects.
MEDICO is a registered 501c(3) organization that serves the people of Central America regardless of race, creed, political or religious affiliation. The programs and support we offer to the communities we serve are based solely in the interest of improving equitable access to health care and preventative knowledge, which we believe is a basic human right.
