Matt Clark began working with tile and stone in Malibu, CA 1977. He apprenticed with Armand Agresti in NYC 1982 . In 1988 Matt Clark worked in Portland, Oregon with Ann Sacks at her original showroom. In the 1990's Matt worked in NYC with David Garbo and Jed Johnson. Matt's work has appeared in many publications.
In 2002 Matt Clark and Katie Franklin opened their tile design studio in San Luis Obispo, California Featuring the Country Floors Collection. Staff work closely with their clients to create deeply satisfying tile and stone designs. From fireplaces and fountains, to patios, kitchens and baths.
