Highland County Community Action Organization, Inc. strives to empower individuals and families through opportunities and support to achieve self-sufficiency.
HCCAO is a private, 501c3 non-profit corporation governed by a fifteen member volunteer board that represents the private, public, and low-income sectors in our county. Our board guides our decisions on the best ways to support our community. We combine a wide range of poverty reduction services including Head Start, Housing, Emergency Services, Family Health Services, Senior Nutrition, and Workforce Services to provide an integrated, two generation approach to serving individuals, families, and communities in Highland County and the surrounding region.
