In 1987 several people met to discuss the possibility of incorporating Beach Park. After two years of hard work and planning, this small group of people was able to see a referendum pass and Beach Park, Illinois become a reality. In 1989 the Village of Beach Park was incorporated. This year we will be celebrating our 25th anniversary. From these humble beginnings we have grown to nearly 15,000 people in 7 square miles in northeastern Lake County, IL.
