LEARN TO FLY
Aero Safety Training is an FAA-approved Part 141 flight school for private and instrument training. As a Cessna Pilot Center, we offer self-paced, computer-based multimedia ground school, the most comprehensive way to train. This state-of-the-art computer-based instruction features interactive full-screen video and graphics. The curriculum works hand-in-hand with your ground and flight training allowing you to review lessons and preview upcoming flights. We also have an FAA-approved Jeppesen Flight Training Device to supplement your training or brush up on your technique. For your convenience, Aero Safety Training offers a web-based scheduling and reservation system and other online resources for planning your flights.
INSTRUCTORS
Our instructors are experienced aviation professionals with a passion for teaching. All of our instructors are members of the National Association of Flight Instructors (NAFI). We are also pleased to have a designated Master Flight Instructor on staff.
AIRCRAFT
Aero Safety Training’s fleet features Cessna aircraft equipped with moving map GPS navigation systems. Or, choose a G-1000 equipped Cessna Skyhawk. Our staff is ready to train you on either platform, and can provide transition training for G1000 equipped aircraft.
Aircraft Rentals
Aero Safety Training is one of the few facilities in the area that rents its aircraft to qualified pilots. Rental checkouts require two flights with an Aero Safety Training flight instructor to demonstrate specific skills.
CATS TESTING CENTER
Aero Safety Training is an approved CATS Testing Center. Take your FAA knowledge tests at our facility in a comfortable setting. The results of your test are available immediately.
PILOT SHOP
Charts, publications, pilot supplies, and gifts are available for purchase at our pilot shop. Gift certificates are available and can be used toward flying or any Pilot Shop purchase.
LINCOLN PARK AIRPORT
Just 24 miles from New York City, Lincoln Park Airport is easily accessible from major highways. This privately owned, non-towered airport is nestled among some of the most picturesque hills and lakes in the northeast. Our charming airport provides seven-day-a-week fuel and maintenance facility. The popular Sunset Pub and Grill makes a visit enjoyable for the entire family.
